The Big Bad Wolf is another well written crime story from James Patterson; the chapters fall logically and smoothly and are not overly full of detail that can often cause the reader to either lose the plot or become bored. James Patterson demonstrates his great ability to give you only the  information necessary to adequately build both the scene and the plot.

Any crime story fan will love this book and will no doubt instantly recognise the main character, Alex Cross, from previous books. This story charts his difficult rise into the ranks of the FBI; a challenge he rises to as he sets out to prove himself a real player in law enforcement. I look forward to following his next investigations in forthcoming print and would thoroughly recommend this book.
